Bagudu vows to sustain road, agric projects in Kebbi | The Guardian Nigeria News - Nigeria and World News


Governor Abubakar Bagudu has pledged to vigorously pursue massive agriculture by providing necessary material and financial support to farmers. xThe roads inspected include those linking Fakon Sarki, Sakai, Sabla Zabarma, Sabla Maisamari, Zaddo and Bayawa Asarara as well as a new bridge at Asarara village. On behalf of the people, Danladi Maigari, commended the governor for the projects, which he said improved the economy of the area. Bagudu added that cassava cultivation was ongoing in Augie in preparation for the commencement of ethanol bio-fuel production in the state with cassava as basic raw material. Kebbi is also cultivating cassava pilot farms at Maiyama, Gwandu and Danko/Wasagu local councils for the provision of raw material for the ethanol bio-fuel production.
